About Us
You could say — almost quite literally — that Wicked Whisk was born from a fever dream. Life-altering health challenges forced a decision: keep playing by others’ rules, or carve out a space of their own. Wicked Whisk chose the latter — and carve out a name, a flavour, and a purpose they have.
Backed by years of industry experience, they’ve charted their own course — one that embraces bold creativity, inclusive recipes, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Wicked Whisk isn’t just a bakery; it’s a space where comfort food meets conscious choices. They cater to dietary needs with care few bakeries even attempt — because they’ve lived the reasons why it matters.
Located in the Main Lobby of The Ampersand, Wicked Whisk invites you to come grab a bite, and taste what it means to rewrite the recipe.
Wicked Whisk is a proudly Indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+ owned and operated bakery.
Wicked Whisk located in downtown Calgary, both acknowledges and pays tribute to the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta (Districts 5 and 6). On this land and in this place we strive to learn together, walk together, and grow together “in a good way.”
